Easter Sunday

Baskets were filled to the brim and waiting for two little girls to tear through them Sunday morning

and those two little girls were waiting ever so patiently to see what they were filled with.

New sunglasses and they are ready for Summer!

Pokemon cards were their favorite find, they spent most of the day teaching and playing with their papa.

After digging through their baskets and playing with a few of their goodies it was time for the egg hunt.

Just a little too high for this almost 10 year old!

Daddy to the rescue!

Of course Brooklyn dug right into a chocolate chick after finding all the eggs

Our favorite chocolate croissants from Trader Joe's for breakfast.

While hubby and I ran around prepping for our afternoon with family the girls played and played until it was time to get dressed in their Easter dresses.

Sweet cousins and family arrived

and this little cutie celebrated her very first Easter Sunday!

Egg hunt time

A good uncle bends over so his niece can crack a confetti egg over his head.

These three sailed their "ship" around the ocean until it was time for the celebrating to end.

The best grandparents with their four great grandchildren

We were missing a few brothers and their families as well as my father in law this Easter Sunday but that didn't stop us from having an amazing day even after a bottle of champagne exploded all over my kitchen and later a few coffee mugs fell and shattered in there as well.  A family event over here is never dull that's for sure!
